The innovative action I can take towards helping to increase trust between Black parents and educators of elementary aged Black boys is to create a consolidated platform of resources that both Black parents and educators can use to create representation in the classrooms. This platform will feature diverse books, classroom materials, lesson plans, and more that are vetted by Black parents across the country.
